Our goal is to help the faculty and administration provide a great education and experience for all students at Richards.
What We've Been Doing
During the 2019-2020 school year and the first part of this year, the RMS PTA provided the following:
books for the Media Center
a conductor's podium for the band and orchestra to use,
supplies and instruction materials for teachers,
banners and flags to be used at awards ceremonies or school meetings,
a podium for the auditorium,
rewards and supplies for PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support), also known as REP points,
infrared thermometers, and
seating for the teacher’s lounge.
How We Raise Funds
Funds for the above purchases have typically been raised through school dances and one fundraiser per year.
Our PTA aims to continue supporting Richards, and we need your help!
Throughout the year, we need volunteers to help with hospitality events, school dances, selling and sorting spirit items, volunteering at the Sara Spano PTA Clothing Bank, and more!
